RSYC
OVERVIEW
RSYC
is a Members' Club, based in Port Klang, with a resident membership of over 1000,
many of whom are active boaters. Fishing and sailing are amongst the most popular
sports, and the Club organizes regular competitions in both, as well as major
annual events such as the Raja Muda Regatta and the RSYC-Pengail Fishing Challenge.
The Club house is modern and spacious and can cater for small groups to large
functions with its own restaurant and bar services. There is also a swimming
pool and other games equipment. The Club welcomes yachting visitors from
other yachts clubs.
RSYC
BENEFITS
RSYC
is one of the few recreational clubs in the Klang area, and offers a high standard
of service to corporate and individual Members from the local government and business
communities. The Club house is an oasis in the midst of a clamorous industrial
port complex. The Club is open every day of the year.
RSYC
MEMBERSHIP
Membership
is open to all, from the youngest "Junior" category to full membership for adults.
Special arrangements are made for those who may only be in the area for a short
time, and those moving to other states or overseas may transfer to "country" or
"absent" status and retain the membership. The Club also exercises a short term
"guest member" status for visiting yachtsmen. Spouses and young children
are automatically included in the membership of the Member, and guests may be
introduced - all of the above being under the responsibility of the Member.
