CIRCULAR TO MEMBERS JANUARY 2010 Food & Beverage Levy The Club Committee has suspended the levy of RM25 per month with effect from 1st January 2010. Staff Bonus Fund The Club Committee wishes to award a discretionary bonus to Club staff, based on Members’ contributions. A form is attached. Keelboat Racing Programme The 2010 Keelboat Championship will commence in March, with races for Cruisers and Platus on alternate Sundays. The Programme will kick off with an Everything That Floats Regatta on the weekend on 6/7 March, to which all sailing yachts are invited. This is also an opportunity to introduce new sailors to the Club. Reciprocal Clubs In recent months the Club has established reciprocal arrangements with the Malacca Club, The Royal Port Dickson Yacht Club, and the Subic Bay Yacht Club in the Philippines. Members visiting Malacca and Port Dickson may enjoy the use of their facilities at Member Rates, upon production of their RSYC Membership Card.
KKH Enterprise took over the Club F&B services on 1st October 2009. The Club Committee encourages Members to provide feedback on their reaction to the new services, either on the survey forms available at the Club, or by any other means, preferably in writing and addressed to the F&B Sub Committee. Payments to the Club The Accounts Department is still receiving payments by bank transfer without any corresponding verification of paying Member’s account number. Members are encouraged to use this payment method, provided that they follow up by sending a copy of the pay-in slip to the Accounts Department. The Club credit card terminal at the main bar has been removed, and replaced
by the caterer’s own terminal. Members should not make payments
to their Club account to the caterer, but do so to the Club Accounts Department
in the office.
