The Club welcomes members with an interest in
boating of any genre – whether it be sailing, yachting, fishing, sports,
power or simply leisure.
The Club offers three types of regular membership: Ordinary, Temporary and
Youth. There are also special arrangements for Junior members and visiting
members. The Club confers Honorary Membership upon appropriate local
dignitaries, and Honorary Life Membership upon individual members who have
rendered outstanding services to the Club. Members living in the State of
Selangor are regarded as "resident". Those in other parts of
Malaysia and in Singapore are categorised as "country" and all
others further afield are "absent". Members of any recognised
yacht club worldwide are welcome to visit the Club and enjoy the facilities
during their stay.

There are a number of ways to join the RSYC, depending on your
circumstances:
All memberships require an additional RM1,500 F&B deposit upon
application.

NOTES
Temporary memberships are for a term of 24 months, during which a member
can elect to transfer this membership into ordinary membership by paying
the full entrance fee minus the RM700/- already contributed.
Youth memberships are open to Malaysian citizens aged between 18 and 30
years. Upon joining, the provisional member pays only the sum of RM500 as
part payment of the prevailing entrance fee. The balance of the entrance
fee shall be divided by the number of the months remaining before the
member's 30th birthday.
