Good news for club members!
AGREEMENT FOR RECIPROCAL ARRANGEMENT
Between
ROYAL LANGKAWI YACHT CLUB
(Pulau Langkawi, Kedah)
And
ROYAL SELANGOR YACHT CLUB
(Port Klang, Selangor)
The Clubs have entered into an agreement whereby:
1) Members of each Club (known as “Home Member”) may use the facilities of the other club (known as “Host Club”) subject to :

The extent of their own membership privileges at their home club:
a) The Rules and By-Laws of the Host Club
b) The availability of the facilities at time of visit
c) All terms and conditions stated in the following clauses
2) This Reciprocal Arrangement is not extended to:
a) Default & Absent Members
3) The Visiting Members must present documents such as:
a) Introduction letter or card issued by the Home Club. Introduction letter or card is not transferable.
b) Home Club Membership Card
To the Host Club Reception for registration (signing in) before using the Host Club’s facilities.
4) Berthing & Fuel – Royal Langkawi Yacht Club
a) All visiting vessels shall be registered with the Marina Office or Harbour Master. The relevant berthing fees and related charges payable by Host Club Member are also payable by Affiliated Members.
b) Visiting members are accorded to Home Club members’ berthing rate to maximum of 90 days per calendar year. Non utilized days are NOT allowed to be accumulated and carried forward to following calendar year.
c) Fuel prices are subjected to change from time to time. Visiting members are advised to inquire at the Marina Office for current fuel price.

Berthing – Royal Selangor Yacht Club
a) All visiting vessels shall be registered with the Marina Office or Harbour Master. The berthing fees for visiting members’ from Royal Langkawi Yacht Club will be RM4.00 (Ringgit Malaysia Four only) per foot length per month.
b) For purchase of fuel, Royal Selangor Yacht Club offers a 10 sen per litre discount on the published rate.
5) Food & Beverage Discounts – Royal Langkawi Yacht Club
a) For visiting members, Royal Langkawi Yacht Club offers a 20% discount on the published rate at all its Food and Beverage outlets. Visiting members are not required to be berthing at the club’s marina to enjoy the food and beverage discounts.

Food & Beverage Discounts – Royal Selangor Yacht Club
a) For visiting members, Royal Selangor Yacht Club offers a 20% discount on the published rate of all Food & Beverage items purchased at Royal Selangor Yacht Club.
6) Reciprocal Members are not permitted to sign for any expenses and purchases at the Host Club. All payment shall be settled at the point of sales either in cash or within the credit cards accepted at both Royal Langkawi Yacht Club and Royal Selangor Yacht Club.
7) Reciprocal Member may introduce guests at the Host Club, subject to the maximum number as allowed by the Rules and By-Laws of the Host Club. It is a requirement that guests must be accompanied at all times by the Reciprocal Member when in the Club’s premises.
8) All advertisement materials shall be submitted to the Host Club for prior approval and strictly adhered to.
9) Visiting Reciprocal members are accorded the same privileges as Home Club Members, except for particular privileges specified in this agreement. Privileges extended may be canceled without notice for failure to comply with the Rules & By-Laws of the Host Club.
10) In the event of any incident or dispute arising at the Host Club, the construction, performance and completion of this Agreement shall be governed by the respective laws of the state in which the Host Club is located.
